Former Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut is dead

Former Ainabkoi Member of Parliament William Chepkut has passed away.

The former legislator died on Saturday, October 8, 2022. His family confirmed.

Preliminary reports indicated that the legislator collapsed at his home and was rushed to a hospital in Nairobi for emergency treatment.

Efforts to resuscitate the legislator proved futile, with doctors pronouncing him dead at a facility in Parklands.

In 2021, Chepkut was hospitalised for two months after he fell inside a city hotel in July 2021.

“I fainted and was rushed to the hospital, where I received treatment and was discharged. I took it lightly and returned home before travelling to Uganda to undertake other duties.

“Around the same time, I suffered two other accidents that totally affected me,”

Chepkut narrated.
